Cupuacu Butter, Moisturizer for Skin and Hair

Cupuacu Butter is loaded with nutrients and is well known for its deep and lasting moisturizing properties, making it a popular vegan alternative to lanolin. It is excellent for sunburned, dry or dehydrated skin. With consistent use, it can also help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars.

This hard exotic butter is commonly melted and whipped with other ingredients to make body butters, creams, soaps, balms and more. It melts at skin temperature so it can also be applied directly to the skin as a rich moisturizer. It is vegan and safe for all skin types.

Cupuacu Butter is native to Brazil, and is extracted by cold pressing the seeds of the Cupuacu tree, which is commonly cultivated throughout the Amazonian basin.

Cupuacu Butter is hard at room temperature however when melted and whipped with other butters and oils it has a smooth and creamy consistency.

This butter is related to Cocoa Butter and has a natural sweet smell to it.
